The Store Accounting team is seeking a highly analytical Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for performing quality assurance activities within a complex enterprise environment, including developing test scripts for automation, maintaining automation frameworks, manual testing, defect tracking, reporting, and mentoring other quality assurance associates.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience performing quality assurance responsibilities for a scrum team, driving test automation for UI and backend systems, and possess a desire for continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities
- Define and communicate testing plans, estimates, and risks to the product owner, dev lead, and/or manager.
- Design, build, and execute automated tests using various test automation frameworks.
- Ensure reliability and maintainability of automated tests and automation frameworks.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, and product backlog refinement meetings to establish test effort estimates.
- Work with product owner, analysts, and development team to create and validate acceptance criteria for product backlog items.
- Build and execute test cases, test sets, and test scripts within Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Facilitate defect tracking, problem determination, and resolution throughout testing life cycle.
- Ensure all quality assurance activities are conducted throughout the software development life cycle and confirm test results are properly verified and documented.
- Mentor/train other quality assurance engineers on the team.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or a related analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience including test analysis, test execution planning, test case development, defect tracking, and test results reporting for large enterprise solutions.
- 2+ years of experience developing automation test scripts for UI and backend applications, using industry standard object-oriented programming languages.
- 2+ years of experience working in an agile environment that releases code to production on a regular and rapid interval.
- 2+ years of experience using web-based development tracking tool for all testing related activities and reporting, such as Azure DevOps or JIRA
- 2+ years of experience in writing complex SQL queries to perform database validations, manipulation, and analytical reporting.
- 2+ years of experience testing APIs using Swagger, Postman, and web-based front ends.
- 6+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience including test analysis, test execution planning, test case development, defect tracking, and test results reporting for large enterprise solutions.
- 4+ years of experience developing automation test scripts for UI and backend applications, using industry standard object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience performing metric analysis, developing metric reports for assigned projects, and presenting project metrics information to management/stakeholders.
- Experience with automation testing using Visual Studio, Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, C#, RestSharp, SpecFlow, BDD.
- Experience in developing and maintaining code-based automation test frameworks.

- Complex ETL, data, event, consumer, and processor validations
- Integrating test automation solutions using CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with performance testing for API, backend, and UI.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Test Plan, and CI/CD pipelines (YAML).
- Expert level SQL query skills to write and execute queries to review/validate test results.
- Experience testing financial systems.
- Continued education and certifications in testing and various technical disciplines.
