Pay Rate: 30.00-33.87 $/Hour At-a-Glance: Are you ready to build your career by joining a multi-national MedTech organization. If so, our client is hiring a Laboratory Technician 3. Position Type: Contract Onsite Required: BS in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques used in a chemistry lab (pH, pipetting, handling of chemicals and controlled substances), familiar with SAP for lot tracing and inventory level. Experience with automated immunoassay analyzers and/or ELISA and chemiluminescent technology is a plus and can be trained. Possess strong computer skills, good communication and interpersonal skills; Strong player in a team setting, be flexible and willing to learn and change. Required skills for this role 1+ year job related experience, and quick to learn new skills. Ability to interpret data and to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Strong work ethic and must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to switch priorities to meet business needs. Understand and comply with the Quality System Regulation and OSHA safety requirements; Requires the basic knowledge of GMP regulations (GLP and GDP); Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and IVDD Need to work on DEA Controlled Substances and are required to have DEA Background Check clearance. Responsibilities: Work with biochemists on daily basis in a wide variety of routine technical assignments. Prepare buffers and reagent formulations following procedures. Work in the laboratory running Syva Viva E, ProE, and Beckman AU analyzers with serum and other biological fluids of human and animal origin. Perform data analysis from experimental runs and support the chemist to write internal reports and documentation. Be part of the analyzer conversion projects for drug testing production process controls.
