Possession and maintenance of a valid California driver’s license. Participate in professional/volunteer organizations which include membership in state association Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC) and American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Mandatory Experience: Bilingual in spanish is required. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Experience in School, acute care, or ICU, or critical care settings preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Strong patient care skills and ability to establish rapport with patients Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and interventions Experience with online teaching and pedagogy is desired.
