Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Process Design and Improvement: Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Equipment and Technology Management: Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, integrating advanced technologies to improve operations.
  • Quality and Compliance Assurance: Collaborate with quality teams to ensure production meets regulatory standards and implement corrective actions for process improvements.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Efficiency: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies like 5S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to eliminate waste and enhance productivity.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with design, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability, reduce costs, and support new product introductions.

Profile

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering (manufacturing, mechanical).
  • 6+ years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Background in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO and CAD.
  • Ability to apply skills as they apply to tooling and machining.
