School-Based Social Worker

Hourly Rate:$35-45/hr

Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School-Based Social Worker to join our team. As a School-Based Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of our students. You will collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to ensure that every student has the support they need to thrive academically and personally.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address students' unique needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive environment that promotes students' academic and social success.
• Advocate for students and families to access community resources, including mental health services, housing assistance, and other social services.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Social Worker in Illinois.
• Active PEL Licensure in Illinois
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or community setting.
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions and counseling techniques appropriate for school-aged children.
