Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial/Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex financial and business data to support decision-making processes across departments. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, advanced proficiency with data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large sets of financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support long-term financial planning and resource allocation.

Financial Metrics & KPIs: Develop and monitor key financial and performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and provide actionable recommendations.

Business Intelligence: Use data analytics tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) to extract, analyze, and visualize business data for management review.

Trend Analysis: Perform trend analysis on financial and business data to identify areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue growth strategies.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy, timeliness, and reporting efficiency.

Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide analytical support for special projects, financial investigations, and strategic initiatives as requested by management.

Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, or a related role or previous public accounting experience.

Skills & Proficiency:

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, complex formulas).

Experience with financial software and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, SAP, or similar tools).

Solid understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and budgeting processes.

Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.

Analytical Skills: Ability to perform detailed financial analysis, identify key trends, and present findings clearly.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex financial data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and financial reports.

Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
