Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead and provide management support for the employees in the department.
Organize, direct, and oversee the schedules and work of front-line employees.
Train front-line employees.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead, direct, and provide management support to the employees in the department.
Collaborate with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments.
Collect, evaluate, analyze, and assess production data.
Regularly inspect and evaluate products for quality and defects.
Identify and correct problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.
Develop and implement procedures and strategies to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Provide guidance to employees on proper work methods when necessary.
Maintain a safe and positive working environment for employees.
Provide leadership to the department and a positive influence for the team.
Provide cross-training where necessary and ensure team members are trained and cross-trained.
Verify, initiate corrections to, and sign off on employee time sheets.
Initiate quarterly reviews for employees and collaborate with the Plant Manager during the review process.
Learn and be proficient in how to complete any and all jobs that come into the department to assist employees when necessary.
Perform work in the department which contributes to the final product.
Report on delivery KPI’s / Gemba Board / QC.
Communicate schedule changes with employees as discussed with the Plant Manager.
Report employee issues to the Plant Manager and escalate them to Human Resources when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience required.
Minimum 3 years of industry work experience required.
Minimum 3 years of auto body painting experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the plant.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.
Additional Job Information:
Wage Expectations: $27.00 – 30.00 per hour + $4.00 position differential.
Pay: This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis.
Typical Schedule: Four (4) Ten (10) hour days M-F, Overtime may be available on your 5th day of the week and/or Saturdays.
Location: On Site – 20812 Broadway Ave; Snohomish, WA 98296.
Travel: Very minimal to none.
Employees are eligible on the 1st of the month following the completion of 60 days of employment for:
Medical: OSW applies a contribution of 82% of the EE Only Base PPO premium to all plans and coverage levels and pays 25% of the dependent portion of the premium (based on the Base PPO Premiums) for the Spouse, Child, and Family coverage levels.
Dental, Vision: In 2024: OSW applies a contribution of 25% of the EE Only Base premium to all plans and coverage levels.
Company Paid Life Insurance Policy for each full-time employee in the amount of $30,000.00.
