Description The Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two senior leaders in Amazon Selection & Catalog Systems (ASCS) team in Seattle, Washington. ASCS builds the systems that host and run the world's largest e-Commerce products catalog. We power the online buying experience for customers worldwide so they can find, discover, and buy anything they want. Our massively scaled out distributed systems process hundreds of millions of updates on the billions of products across physical, digital, and services offerings. We ensure that we serve up the freshest and most complete product information to the hundreds of millions of Amazon's customers around the world 24x7x365. Our products (systems and services) also manage the entire item, relationship, and offer life-cycle, provide the data pipelines for all item and offer information across the company, create the platform for the Fulfilment Centers catalog, manage all offers against items, provide the selection gateway to the search and browse experiences on the website, and compute buyability. To do this, we develop the algorithms and build the systems and tools to the ensure safety of the selection and maximize their impact on the Amazon top-line, all the while continuously growing the overall selection. We develop and apply technologies spanning parallel processing, storage, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Image Recognition. We constantly stretch the limits of distributed systems and big data processing to solve some of the hardest technical problems and unprecedented scale challenges. With the continuing growth in the scale and diversity of the Amazon business, these challenges only get bigger, requiring us to constantly innovate as there are no 'textbook solutions.' We are the team inventing these solutions This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group. Key job responsibilities Manage complex calendar and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations Manage domestic and international travel Manage expense report coordination and submission Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events) Ensure the timely completion of critical tasks and follow up on outstanding matters. Work closely with the leadership team, program managers, recruiting, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization Help to develop & maintain new mechanisms within the team A day in the life A day in the life Efficiency: We strive to ensure and increase overall efficiency and efficacy for ASCS as an organization. We are true business partners to the leaders we support and we work closely together to meet support needs of the org and its leaders. The ASCS Support Team works both independently and also collaboratively to support our leaders and their orgs with frequent opportunities for project and program management, including cross-organizational projects/programs. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience High school or equivalent diploma Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications Experience with executive level calendar management Preferred Qualifications Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company Experience managing multiple calendars Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
