Certification Details BLS ACLS NIH Certification Job Details RN Job Description Summary Work Experience (Basic): 2 years of acute care RN experience Education (Required): Diploma or Associate Certification (Required): Registered Nurse Required Skills: IV insertion, Blood draws, PICC/Central Line management, Dialysis Fistula, CPAP/BiPAP, Trach Care, Periotoneal dialysis, Epidural/PCA pump, Feeding tubes, Continuous bladder irrigation, Wound vac Job Requirements Registered Nurse Certification Nursys Report (Prefer Compact Nursing License) Current state or compact license and Primary Source Verification completed prior to start NIH Certification required annually Passing score of 80% or higher needed for Norton Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening Passing score of 80% or higher needed for Norton Basic Med Assessment Exam Additional Details Covid vaccine required, provide vaccination card with submission. Declination will not be accepted. Documentation of 2 MMRs at least 28 days apart and/or positive laboratory titer Completed onsite Fit Test annually Hepatitis B vaccination documentation needed Influenza vaccine status required, declination reviewed for religious or medical exemptions 2 Negative TB skin tests required within specified timelines or Quantiferon Gold within 90 days Documentation of 2 doses of varicella 4 weeks apart and/or positive laboratory titer Proof of Tdap vaccination Physical Health Statement required within one year prior to assignment Full work experience documentation required with references Norton Specialty Exam passing score of 80% or higher, updated every 3 years Norton Skills Checklist completed prior to start and annually updated 10 panel drug screen required annually Norton References and Employment Verification needed Background Check including multiple searches required prior to start Norton Candidate Affirmation to be completed within 24 hours of acceptance Norton Employment Eligibility documentation required I-9 form with supporting documentation to be completed prior to start Standard job description available within document library Workplace Safety Module to be completed and updated annually TB Risk Assessment Form to be completed 90 days prior to start and updated annually Complete Facility Form, not employment verification/resume Registry check for specified settings required every 3 years
