Bulk Truck Unloader

Shift:
1st Shift (7am-3pm), may be asked to work up to 12 hr shifts and cover other bulk truck unloaders as needed
Job Summary:
The Bulk Truck Unloader will assist production and the warehouse in running efficiently. They will be responsible for receiving, loading, and unloading bulk flour from the railroads and depositing them in a timely manner.
Essential Functions: Receive paperwork on the incoming product from the Truck Driver. Break seal and take sample to lab for product verification. Hook the truck up properly to unload product. Product is unloaded through the sifter house into the silo. Verify the truck is unloaded properly into the correct silo. Completes and maintains paperwork as needed. Follows safety & sanitation rules. Keeps area and sifter house clean. Help clean the silos as needed. Responsible for keeping the production areas from running out of flour and completing paperwork at shift change. Employee will be responsible for receiving and unloading bulk flour from rail cars and bulk trucks. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 6+ months experience in a food production/ food manufacturing environment. Job requires constant standing, lifting, and moving product a majority of the day. Employee must be able to move and hook up hoses. Minimal computer skills required. Must not have an aversion to heights up to 50ft. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Work Environment:
The job is performed outside the facility and inside the facility in production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.
