Travel rate is available for local travelers if their start date is on or before 12/16. RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year Traveler Experience: Not required Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes JOB DETAILS: Ratios: 1:4. Shift: Nights 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. 13- Mid March contracts accepted to get through the Holidays. RTO: 7 days MAX; NO CHRISTMAS EVE OR CHRISTMAS DAY RTO ALLOWED Float Requirement: Float first from unit, definite float requirement and typically if floating to a lower level of care we would add 1 patient to the ratio. Travelers float first. There will also be storm team requirement. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Stroke, neuro medical UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): EPIC and Pyxis. UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 Hours SCRUBS: Navy Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty Job Requirements

Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Charge nurse experience and telemetry experience preferred. Stable trached ventilator management and pressor support experience preferred. Schedule Information

Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
