Overview The Campus Store Customer Experience & Cash Control Manager is responsible for managing both the overall customer experience and ensuring accurate cash control processes within the store. This dual role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while overseeing cash handling, cashier supervision, and financial accountability. The manager will train and guide the cashier team, ensure compliance with cash management procedures, and work to create an inviting and efficient shopping environment. The role is key in ensuring smooth daily operations, financial accuracy, and a consistently positive customer experience.
Responsibilities Customer Experience Leadership:Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and satisfaction. Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and train staff on best practices. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring a positive resolution. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods such as back-to-school seasons.
Cash Control & Financial Management:Manage all cash handling procedures, including cash drawer balancing, deposits, and cash management. Oversee daily cash reconciliation and end-of-day reporting, ensuring financial accuracy. Ensure compliance with store policies related to financial transactions, security, and audits. Investigate and resolve any cash discrepancies, working closely with store leadership on financial audits.
Cashier Supervision: 15-20 employeesHire, supervise, train, and mentor all cashiers, ensuring they adhere to store policies and deliver excellent service. Schedule, assign, and monitor cashier shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times. Conduct periodic performance reviews for cashiers, providing feedback on accuracy, efficiency, and customer service. Ensure cashiers follow cash control procedures, including accurately processing transactions, refunds, and exchanges. Train store employees on customer service standards and cash control processes. Encourage a culture of teamwork, positivity, and continuous improvement.
Customer Feedback & Improvement:Collect, analyze, and act on customer feedback to improve the customers in store experience. Help drive sales by providing exceptional service and upselling store products.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:3+ years of experience in retail, customer service, or cashier supervision. Strong understanding of cash handling procedures and financial controls. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, and cash
