Job Title: S4 HANA Solution Architect
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Assignment Type: 6 Month (Contract-to-Hire)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Implementation Lead with a strong background in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA systems across multiple business process areas. This role requires deep expertise in S/4HANA Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Project Systems, with a preference for candidates who have led multiple end-to-end implementations and have extensive experience in both Greenfield and Brownfield projects. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Solution Management teams, including business representatives, System Architects, Program leaders, and Product Managers, to design and deliver optimized SAP solutions. Conduct Fit/Gap analyses for clients future roadmaps against current solution templates, defining and documenting solutions for identified gaps. Prepare position papers and present key design decision documents across various business process areas. Generate high-quality procedural, operational, technical design, and process flow documentation. Identify, address, and proactively resolve potential system issues and suggest improvements. Serve as the primary liaison with SAP to address and implement whitespace requirements. Core SAP Requirements: Skill Level Description Team Leadership Mandatory Proven experience leading solution teams across one or more end-to-end SAP implementation programs. Communication Excellent Strong verbal and written skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences. SAP S/4HANA Exposure Mandatory At least one S/4HANA Greenfield implementation; Brownfield experience can be considered. S/4HANA Sales Design & Architecture Mandatory Hands-on experience in Sales design: Condition contracts, Pricing, Catalogs, AATP, 3rd Party Sales, Sales Contracts, Custom Development, IS-Retail modules. S/4HANA Procurement Design & Arch. Mandatory Implementation in Procurement, covering Condition contracts, Pricing, 3rd Party Sales, Item Master, Business Partner, Procurement, and Goods Receipt. S/4HANA Finance Design & Architecture Mandatory Expertise in Finance solutions covering MM-FI Integration, SD-FI Integration, COPA, Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. S/4HANA Project Systems Mandatory Implementation experience in Project Systems with a focus on Cost Element usage, Billing, and Revenue Recognition. SAP Technical and Integration Mandatory Experience with SAP integration (inbound/outbound), various integration patterns, and familiarity with non-SAP system integration. Solution Demonstration Mandatory Experience in running Conference Room Pilots (CRP). SAP Master Data Mandatory Deep knowledge of Master Data structures and Enterprise Setup design across various business processes. Cross-Platform Reporting Mandatory Strong understanding of SAP table structures in conjunction with business processes. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree
(Required). 10+ years of experience
with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC (Multiple implementation experiences mandatory; S/4HANA experience will be prioritized). Ability to research, configure, and set up Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in S/4HANA for complex requirements. Proficient in managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Collaborative, service-oriented mindset towards internal customers and peers. Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
