A Federally Qualified Health Center in the Bronx is currently seeking a licensed Psychiatrist for a promising position with their growing team.
About the Opportunity Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 830am to 5:30pm Setting: Outpatient Call: No Call Responsibilities:
The Psychiatrist will: Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. He/She will collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers. Discuss care plans and progress in collaborative team approach model. Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results Maintain complete and accurate medical records. Review patient's history and perform physical examination Evaluate, diagnose and provide appropriate treatment and patient care for disorders and diseases Qualifications: Current unrestricted NY medical license Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry (MD/DO) DEA / BLS / ACLS Desired Skills: Fluent in Spanish FQHC Experience Preferred 2 years of experience in previous mental health setting, outpatient clinic, or hospital Your privacy is important to us.
