Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

The Delivery/Warehouse Associate must be a team player who is responsible for the accurate movement of parts and equipment into and out of Warehouse and customer deliveries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include but are not limited to the following:
Loading/unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling, shipping and receiving. Merchandise deliveries to Customers as instructed by Manager Preparing orders by pulling stock from assigned bin locations, ensuring quality control in the process Packaging finished product for shipping (boxing, shrink wrapping, labeling) Pick-up for Suppliers when directed Responsible for cleanliness and organization of work areas Responsible for the care of delivery vehicles and equipment Participating in physical inventories to verify stock and identifying losses Other duties and responsibilities as necessary for the business or as requested by Management. Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, as well as possess the following:
Reliability/Dependability/Trustworthy Work well with limited supervision Effective communicator Attention to detail Ability to multitask and work well under pressure Quick learner Works well with others (team player) Accuracy Excellent follow-through (with customers & workforce) Results-oriented Ability to lift 75+ pounds Able to lift items over 75 lbs (using team lift, pallet jack, appliance dolly etc.) Periodic mandatory overtime
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of appliance parts and HVAC parts a plus. Stable, solid work history.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
to safety procedures. Ability to read/listen to and comprehend simple, moderate and difficult instructions, as well as understand complex, multi-step written or oral instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must be able to operate basic office and warehouse equipment such computer, printer, calculator, fax machine, copier, etc. Computer/Internet proficiency.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must
be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing
the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach
with hands and arms and talk or hear, climb warehouse ladders, carry, stoop, push/pull, and/or kneel.
The employee is required to stand or walk in order to perform 95% of the essential duties and
responsibilities of this job. The employee must be able to assist other team members in lifting parts,
equipment, and/or appliances over 100-150 pounds.
NOTE: Work Environment with fluctuating temperatures (often extreme cold/heat) All Applicants must be 21 years or older, possess a valid driver's license, and submit to an MVR, Background and Drug Screening. Must adhere to the D&L Driver's Creed.
