Job Description: Madden Industrial is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Industrial Conveyor Splicer Technician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with installing, stringing and splicing heavy industrial conveyor belts. This role requires field experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work overtime and travel.

Pay: $27-35/hr

Responsibilities:

Perform vulcanizing and cold bond splicing on heavy industrial conveyor belts. Execute lap splices, finger splices, and steel cable splices with precision. Conduct cold splicing and pulley lagging to ensure optimal belt performance. Inspect and assess conveyor belts for damage and wear, recommending appropriate repairs. Use specialized tools and equipment to perform splicing and lagging tasks. Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure safe and efficient work. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks. Travel to various job sites as required, sometimes on short notice. Work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines and client demands. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Vulcanizing and Cold Bond Technician in a heavy industrial setting. Expertise in lap splices, finger splices, steel cable splices, cold splicing, and pulley lagging. Strong knowledge of conveyor belt materials, construction, and repair techniques. Field experience in heavy industrial environments. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to work overtime and travel to job sites as required. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects and working in various conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or training in conveyor belt splicing and repair. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
