This is an entry level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred. Local candidates are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities: Perform general laboratory support functions to maintain laboratory cleanliness, operation, and safety. Including: • Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, other lab support duties • Low complexity manufacturing operations (buffer mfg) and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance and/or cleaning) • glassware washing • Material innventory monitoring support • Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedule • Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed • 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations • High school diploma with strength in science and math or relevant work experience, or B.S./B.A./A.S. in relevant field • The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.
