We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Rack Integration Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical setup of IT infrastructure within data centers or other technical environments, including racking, stacking, and cabling equipment to ensure optimal performance and organization.

Location: Franklin, MA 02038

Hourly Rate: $40+/hour – Based on Experience

Start Date: mid-December

Duration: three months (possibly extending)

Key Responsibilities:

Install servers, switches, storage devices, and other hardware in designated racks. Arrange equipment securely according to specifications, ensuring accessibility and efficient use of space. Ensure all equipment is securely mounted and aligned according to company standards. Connect and route power, network, and other cables between devices, ensuring neat and organized cable management best practices are followed for easy access, airflow, and safety. Label and document cable connections for easy identification and troubleshooting Test and verify cable functionality and performance. Perform initial power-up tests to verify the proper installation of components, address connectivity issues, and troubleshoot any hardware or cabling faults. Accurately document rack layouts, cable routing, and hardware configurations to support future maintenance and troubleshooting. Update inventory records as equipment is installed. Follow all safety protocols and company policies, including ESD handling procedures, to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with rack integration and cabling. Familiarity with various server, storage, and networking equipment from leading vendors. Understanding of structured cabling standards and cable management practices. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and installation instructions. Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Data Center Technician) are a plus. Experience in data center or large-scale IT environments.

Experience with network troubleshooting tools. Knowledge of data center power systems (e.g., PDU, UPS). Familiarity with safety protocols in data center environments.

Work Environment:

This role involves physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in tight spaces. Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) There are three different work shifts (morning, afternoons, and overnight)
