Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide leadership to the accounting team, and oversight into all aspects of financial planning including accounting functions, financial analysis & reporting, forecasting, budget management, cash flow planning, compliance, and financial relationships. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will report to and work closely with the President and CEO, and will be responsible for the overall financial management of IREGC. The CFO will need to develop active and aligned relationships and strategies with peers in the COO and CIO. The ideal candidate will align with and reinforce organizational core values and culture. A successful track record of developing people and a highly cohesive team are paramount. Additionally, the CFO will be responsible for providing leadership to all M&A initiatives by developing lending relationships, sourcing debt, ensuring successful post-acquisition integration, and establishing and utilizing KPI’s for effective decision-making. The ability to advance relationships with our partners and investors, while contributing to the strategic oversight and vision for the successful future of the company, are essential to the CFO role.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position qualifications include:
A minimum of 5 years in the real estate industry A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field, required; Master’s degree, a plus A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role as a financial professional in a multi-faceted organization A minimum of 5 years of experience providing leadership and oversight to others M&A experience and post-acquisition integration Extensive experience raising significant capital Proficiency with technology Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal Public accounting experience and/or CPA licensure, a plus but not required Demonstrated community involvement, a plus
