Adelphi is seeking a Physician (Radiation Oncologist) to provide services at a facility in Dayton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive care to patients with malignancies including consultations, treatment planning, patient treatment visits, and follow-up care, among other responsibilities. Quick Job Facts: - Ref #: BD-780-01 - Profession: Physician - Specialty: Radiation Oncologist - Facility Type: Hospital - Job Type: Contract - Coverage Type: Clinical + Call - Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm - Call Schedule: TBD (344 hours on-call coverage annually) - Rate: $225/hr Required: - MD/DO - Full and unrestricted License in any State, or US Territory - BC in Radiation Oncology - BLS/ACLS Responsibilities: - Evaluation & treatment for both palliative & curative cancer patients, follow-up, re-evaluation, & treatment visit. - Conduct comprehensive patient evaluation at the request of the referring physician. - Develop a goal-oriented treatment plan from supporting data for each patient when it is determined radiation therapy is appropriate. - Develop individualized treatment plans using advanced modalities like IMRT, IGRT, and Stereotactic Radiotherapy. - Conduct thorough pre-treatment evaluations, review medical records and lab results, and discuss treatment plans with patient. - Complete any documentation associated with the treatment provided to patients. - Review and monitor all therapy for side effects or complications, prescribed dose changes & other adjustment in treatment as needed. - Document treatment discharge summary in CPRS; total radiation doses, patient condition at completion, discharge instructions, follow-up appointment post treatment. - Any other duties as assigned.
