As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our pediatric dentist and ensuring that each child's visit is smooth and enjoyable. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the pediatric dentist during dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
  • Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are well-stocked and sanitized.
  • Welcoming young patients and their families, helping to create a friendly and reassuring atmosphere.
  • Educating children and their parents on proper oral hygiene techniques.
  • Taking digital X-rays and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment.
  • Providing chairside assistance to the dentist, anticipating their needs and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Offering support to children who may be anxious or nervous about dental procedures.
  • Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Participating in team meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices.

 

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
    • Pediatric dental experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and work with children is essential.
    • X-ray certification.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with children and parents.
    • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

      • Salary: starting at $20 per hour depending on experience

      • Convenient 4 Day Week Schedule giving you 3 days off to do what you love!
        • Wednesday-Saturday
        • Sunday-Wednesday
