Helix is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Technical Recruiter for our CDMX location. In this role, you’ll be a key player in our global talent acquisition strategy, partnering closely with engineering, product teams and beyond to build impactful, mission-driven teams. As a Senior Technical Recruiter for Helix, you will:
- Lead our full-cycle recruiting process, prioritizing strong hiring manager partnerships and exceptional candidate experience.
- Strategize creative sourcing approaches, including research, referrals, events, and campaigns, to build and nurture diverse talent pipelines.
- Screen candidates for both cultural and technical fit in engineering and cloud-based roles.
- Provide an excellent interview experience, championing Helix’s commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Access (IDEA).
- Track and report pipeline, performance, and priority data, ensuring transparent stakeholder communication.
- Facilitate live sourcing sessions, aligning with your team on recruitment strategy.
- Engage passive candidates, representing Helix’s values and mission authentically and powerfully.
About You:
- Your experience spans a wide range of technical domains, with an eagerness to lean into new areas, such as bioinformatics, life sciences, and informatics.
- Proven success in fast-paced environments with strong offer-to-close ratios and a track record of scaling technical teams.
- Experience using equity as a lever in offer negotiations, attracting top-tier talent in competitive markets.
- Deep experience recruiting software engineers in cloud environments.
- Skilled in building trust and effective partnerships with hiring managers, using a consultative and data-driven approach.
- Proficient in managing complex recruiting processes while maintaining attention to detail and operational excellence.
- 5+ years of recruitment experience, with a strong network of engineering talent in CDMX.
- Passionate about mission-driven work and connecting candidates to Helix’s purpose in a meaningful way.

Expected Pay For This Role:
There are 2 distinct parts to your Helix offer: 1) Base Salary 2) Annual Bonus
Expected Helix Annual Base: $875,000 - $1,100,000 MXN
Expected Helix Discretionary Annual Bonus: 10% of your annual salary
The salary range above is our reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role across your region. Actual starting pay will be based on non-discriminatory job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Office Location:
Our office is located at the WeWork - Varsovia, Mexico City
- We gather intentionally in our office space once per week to work on things like pair programming/live collaboration, skillshare sessions, social segments, team lunches, and volunteering opportunities.
What To Expect During Your Onboarding Week:
We want to make sure your first week is spent learning the foundations. You will be invited to live orientation sessions and spend time with your hiring manager developing your individual roadmap to success. This experience will include sessions that cover your benefits, security & privacy training, an introduction to the OKR framework used at Helix and our communication tools and norms.
What To Expect During Your First 90 days:
First 30 days: you’ll spend time learning the Helix way, completing training and onboarding for your roles, and getting introduced to your team and relevant stakeholders. You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of our customers, our products, the impact we make in the lives of our communities, and how to thrive at Helix through participation in Helix U.
Day 30 - 60: you’ll spend time contributing to projects, deeply familiarizing yourself with team and company processes, and developing a deeper understanding of Helix’s products, services and capabilities.
Day 60 - 90: you’ll build your OKRs with your manager, start to take ownership of projects and initiatives on your team, and begin to demonstrate your impact on the Helix mission.
