Robert Half is hiring: Accounting Analyst in Warren

We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This role is a long-term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounting Analyst, you would be responsible for handling various accounting duties, including but not limited to processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing both accounts receivable and payable

• Provide excellent service to all customers by resolving their billing transaction issues

• Play a key role in preparing daily collection folders

• Handle the distribution of deductible invoices

• Support in adjusting journal entries and bank reconciliations

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas to carry out tasks efficiently

• Process non-payment cancellation and reinstatement notices

• Ensure accuracy in maintaining customer credit records.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency in adjusting journal entries
• Experience in performing bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) procedures
• Familiarity with accounts receivable (AR) procedures
• Skillful in using Excel formulas for data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred
