We are excited to announce a career opportunity for which we are seeking expressions of interest from qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the Construction Management Professional Specialist - Healthcare role in Seattle, WA.
As a Construction Management Professional of capital projects, you’ll be responsible for the management of various subcontractors, process improvement activities, training and day to day leadership of all PMCM staff aligned to this client group. Duties will include, weekly and monthly reporting, establishment of PMCM best practices, schedule management, change management and executive reporting. The CM Professional will be responsible for guiding and managing the capital projects team in Design, Construction, Commissioning, Activation and Stabilization. This will also include overall project delivery (cost, schedule, budget, quality, and contract negotiation) on multiple project assignments and will manage project development from conception through completion (both large and small) in accordance with program objectives.
We’ll look to you to manage all budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projects. You’ll manage the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications as well as change orders and coordinate with Control Manager for proper posting in the reporting program.
As the CM Professional, you’ll manage and resolve complex design and construction related issues, disputes, and disagreements; and review status and monitor variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting. Additionally, you’ll attend assigned meetings, conduct chartering engagements, integrate and communicate with all stakeholders, develop and hold weekly job progress meetings with staff and document performance as necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent combination of healthcare and significant related experience.
10+ years of related design and construction project management experience with education or healthcare buildings
Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management (GMP/ lump sum), project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
Strong working knowledge in vendor procurements, change order negotiation, budget and schedule management, operational governances, client satisfaction and management.
Willing to relocate to Seattle Area, Washington
Ideally, * You have multiple Delivery Methods execution: Design Bid Build, Design Build, Progressive Design Build, Design Assist and Multi Prime Delivery experience
You have been a large program team leader for at least 5 years, have managed a team of 10 or more and looking To Grow in Your Career.
