Reporting
: Director of Engineering
Mission of the position
: To inspire our Customer engineers to escape the ordinary through design, fabrication, commissioning, and startup of world class process filtration & purification systems. Supporting Mott’s Process Systems business, this role will be the Senior Project Manager, having the overall responsibility for the management of projects from purchase order to customer installation and start-up. Process Systems projects include system design, process integration, and startup & commissioning of filtration and separation equipment for process industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Power and more. The right candidate for this role is results oriented, has a strategic mindset and is detail oriented.

This is a remote position with travel required. Mott headquarters is located in
Farmington, CT.
Compensation package includes base salary, bonus, and 401k match. This is once in a lifetime opportunity to drive positive change and work

Key Responsibilities:
Major Challenges:
Execute projects and manage project costs, quality, schedule and technical success
Provide all project technical deliverables required by customer contract/purchase order requirements
Develop project plans including schedule, risk assessment, cashflow, budget / forecasted cost analysis
Conduct PAR (post activity reviews) to evaluate project performance and lessons learned
Generate and send RFQ packages to sub vendors.
Sub vendor selection based on technical and commercial evaluation.
Managing multiple tasks and prioritize based on resource availability and requirement in fast-paced environment
Managing third party vendors and engineering firms to meet schedule commitments
Lead cross functional team to meet project timelines
Collaborate with customers to set expectations and understand project requirements Conduct regular status meetings with clients and 3rd party vendors to address open items and risk mitigation.
Expected Performance Outcomes:
Required Experience:
Meet contract ship date
Manage project costs to within 3% of definitive “as-sold” cost estimate for standard projects
Manage projects costs to within 5% of definitive “as-sold” cost estimated for first of a kind projects
Meet all agreed upon revenue and invoicing milestones.
BS Degree in Engineering, MBA preferred
10+ years of Project Management experience in OEM or EPC environment
Experience managing or coordinating the activities of third-party fabrication and engineering firms
Ability to travel up to 25%.
International travel will be required.
Experience in systems designed to ASME Section 8 and B31.3 desired
Have an established network of subject matter experts available for assistance on extended scope projects.
