This role is instrumental in ensuring the highest level of quality in our food and beverage products. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the food and beverage industry, with a keen eye for detail and a relentless drive for excellence. This role is not for the faint-hearted, as it demands a high level of accountability, precision, and adherence to stringent quality standards.Responsibilities:1. Oversee and manage all aspects of quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and internal health and safety regulations.2. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established quality standards.4. Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance management.5. Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential quality issues and develop solutions.6. Analyze data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement in product quality.7. Participate in the development of new products to ensure quality standards are met.8. Handle any customer or client complaints regarding product quality, investigating issues, and implementing corrective actions.9. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and advancements in quality assurance.Qualifications:1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.2. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred.3. Proven experience in managing quality assurance teams and processes.4. Extensive knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, and processes.5. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.6. Exceptional attention to detail and precision.7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.10. Ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions under pressure.11.
