The Big Picture Top Skills Should You Possess:
Perform testing on finished products, in-process, and raw material samples in the chemistry or microbiology labs to provide analytical data to support the manufacturing process and ensure materials meet specification and consumer safety standards. Hourly $22.00 Hourly What You'll Be Doing:
Accurately and consistently perform routine testing in the QC laboratory Perform routine maintenance and calibration procedures on laboratory equipment Prepare and qualify reagents as required Analyze and report results via LIMS and communicate test results to appropriate persons Position requires the ability to operate on a rotating shift schedule Follow all standard operating procedures and testing methods Assure lab equipment is kept clean and in good working order Comply with cGMP, GLP, FSSC, and ISO 9001 standards Maintain accurate records of test results and report them promptly Ensure documentation and records are maintained according to plant procedures and the quality system What You Need to Bring to the Table:
Education / Experience Minimum High School Degree. Associate of Applied Science Degree preferred in chemistry, microbiology, or related fields of study or equivalent combination of education and experience; 6 months to 2 years' experience in a testing laboratory or equivalent with experience in a chemistry lab preferred Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and analytical testing procedures preferred Good math and analytical skills (ability to perform calculations) Familiarity with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and cGMPs desired Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) desired Opportunity is Calling, Apply Now!
