About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Quality Assurance Senior Manager in Center of Quality as a part of Commercial Banking Operations division. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

Manage a Quality Assurance group or diverse and complex department focused on designing and defining quality programs and requirements for the business

Ensure redesign and change management to resolve longer term concerns

Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance standards

Ensure effective communication strategy and adherence to company and unit policies, procedures and practices

Assist with development of service level agreements and other departmental initiatives

Achieve results through managers and more experienced Quality Assurance Analysts

Collaborate with business partners to influence and enact updates as needed

Provide direction through managers, ensuring quality standards are maintained and ensuring enactment of approaches to correct problems

Partner with more experienced managers to allocate and coordinate resources and determine appropriate staff levels in alignment with quality program design, complexity, and work requirements

Engage frequently with peers or more experienced level managers to advise and consult on matters regarding program effectiveness, change preparedness, technology matters, or service levels

Conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives as required

Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Quality Assurance

Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

3+ years of Management experience

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance methodology and workflow applications used to support the execution of post close quality reviews

Ability to understand quality assurance workflow logic, and partner with technology and business partners to test and implement system and program changes

Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, exercise independent judgement, and use critical thinking skills

Experience in building and managing teams, developing talent, and providing strong, proactive leadership

Proficient at effectively working and collaborating with teams within a matrixed organization

Experienced in building constructive and effective relationships. Delivers on commitments and renegotiates when needed. Strong sense of accountability

Broad understanding of risk types, methodologies and frameworks for evaluating or testing controls and assessing results, conducting research, and identifying control deficiencies

Experience drafting and executing control evaluation test scripts to assess the performance of internal controls

Creates and mentors on building constructive and effective relationships

Experience implementing control evaluation methodologies to support the target state

Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; additional experience analyzing business and/or systems changes to determine impact

Familiar with various quality assurance techniques

Risk management experience with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive improvements

Proficient at influencing and consulting strategically across a large organization and with various levels of leadership/stakeholders

Balance strong, innovative problem solving skills with the practical ability to implement workable solutions to problems in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Strong risk and control fundamentals

Effectively communicates in both written and verbal formats with senior executive-level leaders

Extensive understanding of operational risk management in the financial services industry

Demonstrated negotiation skills, especially with difficult topics when partnering with senior management. This includes the willingness and ability to question decisions, understand direction and escalate issues, where necessary

Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and deliver results quickly

Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality output from self and team
