Description Conducting regular jobsite visits, safety audits, inspections, accident investigations, and safety meetings; maintaining logs, evaluating performance, and identifying and implementing corrective actions Teaching and facilitating safety training for Field Leaders and staff on safety meetings, job site inspections, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions Developing, enforcing, and updating health and safety plans, policies, manuals, and crisis management protocols; ensuring legal compliance, auditing Site Safety Binders, and reviewing and auditing Site Safety Plans and Hazmat Reports Collaborating with Estimating and project teams during the estimating and preconstruction process; coordinating subcontractors' pre-construction safety planning meetings Attending project Kick-off and monthly Business Review meetings; periodically monitoring weekly toolbox talks and ensuring proper recordkeeping Managing safety forecast budgets for consumables and training; ensuring equipment and machinery inspections for unsafe conditions Acting as primary contact for injury and incident notifications, investigations, and case management; partnering with HR on GL/WC claims and risk management Liaising with insurance partners, developing risk management plans, attending conferences, and reporting on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics Capturing and evaluating safety and compliance findings; presenting findings to the Leadership Team quarterly to communicate trends and improvement areas Profile Commutable to RI & Southern MA Bachelor's degree in Construction Safety, Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline (preferred) 5+ years of related work experience in the field of construction safety with demonstrated expertise in construction and safety technologies and practices Solid understanding of occupational health and safety guidelines and regulations Proficiency with data analysis and risk assessment Experience on ground-up Healthcare, Commercial, Education, Bio-tech, Multifamily projects valued at $20M+ Excellent written and verbal - communication skills Attention to detail Ability to think critically & problem solve any unforeseen circumstances CPR/First Aid Certified OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 Job Offer 100% employer-paid health insurance 401K + generous match Discretionary bonuses Mileage reimbursement Company phone or personal cell reimbursement Vacation/Personal Time, Sick Time, Paid Holidays MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
