Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Planning Assistant to support their planning manager with data entry and schedule coordination. This role involves transferring data from our old MRP system to Excel, assisting with reporting, and sharing reports across the plant and warehouse. If you have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a passion for logistics and inventory management, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Assist the planning manager with data entry from the old MRP system to Excel
Help with schedule coordinating and planning
Move items from the MRP system to Excel
Utilize Outlook for various tasks
Assist with reporting and share reports across the plant and warehouse
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
Data entry experience
Experience with scheduling and planning
Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems
Experience in logistics, inventory management, and supply chain
Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least 1 year of office administration or data entry experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Knowledge of materials management and inventory control
Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based but requires occasional trips to the plant. The dress code is business casual with jeans and closed-toe shoes. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a half-day on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The company also celebrates various events throughout the year and provides free beverages such as lemonade, tea, Gatorade, and coffee. Additionally, there is a café on-site where employees can purchase food.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
