Our global pharmaceutical partner is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their team. The Construction Safety Manager reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for the safe day to day management of the Construction and Demolition works including temporary and enabling activities and provides Construction Safety expertise and input to the Detailed Design, Procurement, Commissioning, Qualification and Validation phases of the project.

Location: Marietta , PA 17547 100% Onsite
Pay Range: $67-75/hr.
Job Type: 1-3 year contract with the potential to convert/FTE
What’s the Job?
Promote and ensure compliance with EHS standards, conducting risk assessments to drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.
Provide technical guidance and training to managers and staff, supporting incident prevention, investigation, and root cause analysis where necessary.
Develop, implement, and monitor EHS strategies, policies, procedures, and KPIs, conducting audits and reporting on performance metrics.
Support the safe introduction of new processes, equipment, and facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal standards.
Coordinate emergency response efforts, acting as Incident Coordinator during emergencies to safeguard personnel and prevent escalation.
What’s Needed?
University Degree - recognized construction safety qualifications
Certified training in EHS standards, with experience in a pharmaceutical plant environment, conducting inspections, audits, and gemba walks.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills to promote and maintain effective safety practices and a professional department.
Ability to interpret standards, legislation, and monitoring data for risk assessment and action planning.
Proficient in report writing and familiar with standard IT systems.
