Nesco Resource is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our client in Albany, NY. This position provides general office and customer service support to the weatherization and energy services department, manages and/or maintains correspondence, files and records, and relieves staff of clerical work and administrative and business detail.





Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm


Pay Rate: $21.74


Responsibilities:


  • Administrative tasks include copying, faxing, processing mail, data entry, meeting preparation, and supporting front desk operations.

  • Input, process, maintain, monitor, and reconcile appropriate purchasing systems, state databases, and other necessary tracking databases/spreadsheets, complete required reports, inventory tracking, and billing.

  • Provides information on and refers individuals to public or private agencies and community services for assistance; Coordinates customer referrals from other agencies and collaborative efforts to ensure smooth service transition; acts as a customer point of contact.

  • Facilitate active customer involvement in their services and development plans, including follow-up and resolution of customer concerns and service issues.

  • Provide information on area resources as needed and act as a liaison between customers and other community resources to ensure needs are being met.




Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or GED is required; an associate's degree is preferred. A minimum of one (1) year experience working in an administrative office setting with customer service or a related field is required. Experience in an operations, home energy, housing, logistics, or inventory management field is a plus! Good interpersonal & communication skills are required. Well-above-average organizational and computer skills are required, including database entry, word processing, and spreadsheet skills.
