We are looking for a Forklift Operator to support our team at our corporate location in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Forklift Operator is to prepare, process and move orders productively, safely, and accurately per established production rates and according to established standards and guidelines. Associates will be cross trained to perform a variety of functions in various departments to support business and operational needs.

Essential Duties:

  • Ability to operate a standard sit-down forklift and navigate through tight areas.
  • Loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing daily orders
  • Placing received material into storage racks
  • Receiving and put away product.
  • Pick outbound orders.
  • General warehouse labor support.
  • Visually inspects products for defects, setting aside defective items to one side on a skid for the rework department.
  • Packs items in designated carton per customer order.
  • Places identification labels on outbound shipments.
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
  • Receive truck deliveries
  • Reports discrepancies to supervisor

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 years Forklift and Material Handling Experience
  • Experience operating Reach trucks and other D/C equipment operation experience preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to do basic math
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Forklift experience, reach trucks and other D/C equipment operation experience preferred, but willing to train
  • Ability to move up to 49 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach continuously
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
