Position Summary The phlebotomist will draw blood and collect specimens from patients in our medical offices. Duties and Responsibilities The duties include, but are not limited to: Perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for various testsPerform data entry of patient information in an accurate mannerPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis at the labProvide excellent customer service to all patientsPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedQualifications or Education, Training and Experience High school diploma or equivalentCurrent and valid Phlebotomy Certification requiredA minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience requiredExperience drawing blood from all age groupsStrong customer service skillsPhysical/Mental Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee may need to travel to healthcare practices.
