Description of the role:
The Ford Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles in accordance with company standards. They will perform inspections, identify mechanical issues, and ensure that all necessary repairs are completed efficiently and accurately. Senior Master Ford Technician is preferred. If you aren't quite there yet, but have Ford Technician training and experience, we'd like to talk to you. Compensation commensurates with experience and certifications.

Responsibilities:
- Performs road tests for diagnosis of clients’ complaint and verification of repair;
- Performs other duties as assigned;
- Works as a team along with the Service Advisors communicating clients’ vehicle needs;
- Attends manufacturer specific training classes;
- Performs line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and full automotive troubleshooting and testing;
- Continuously expand your knowledge for new technologies and practice;
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment;
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements:
- Great mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical skills
- Must have basic computer skills necessary to use factory software
- Senior Master Ford Technician is preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Ford certifications preferred
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Missouri State Inspection License required
- B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
- ASE Certification required
- Ford certification required (or the ability to obtain Ford certification)
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Must have own tools
