The State of Wisconsin is seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 10 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong technical background. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze requirements, and develop technical solutions that align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements, process flows, and user stories.
Work with IT teams to design, develop, and implement technical solutions.
Conduct data analysis and create reports to support decision-making processes.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to ensure clear communication and understanding of project objectives.
Perform system testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements.
Mandatory Skills:
4 to 10 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
Strong technical background with experience in software development, system integration, or IT infrastructure.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with project management tools and techniques.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
