Job Summary: Luminosity, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to advance pretrial justice through data analytics. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize business processes, enhance reporting and analytics capabilities, and drive automation and efficiency improvements. This position requires experience in process reengineering, data integration, and advanced analytics tools, offering a unique opportunity to shape public safety and justice policies in a diverse and innovative environment. Responsibilities: Business Process Analysis & Documentation Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document detailed business requirements for process improvements and system enhancements Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimizations Maintain business requirements documentation, including use cases, process flows, and data models Process Re-engineering Facilitate workshops and sessions to identify process reengineering solutions Focus on improving efficiency through automation, standardization, and integration Develop and present actionable recommendations for workflow optimization Data Integration & Automation Oversee the automation of manual data collection and reporting processes Develop strategies for integrating systems and optimizing data workflows Leverage technologies to implement processes such as PDF scraping, email automation, and data validation to improve accuracy and reduce errors Data Analytics & Visualization Collaborate with Data Scientists to define requirements for visualizations Support the creation of advanced visualizations that deliver actionable insights Assist in the development of interactive dashboards to support data-driven decision-making Stakeholder Collaboration & Team Mentoring Work with cross-functional teams to align processes with strategic goals Collaborate with external partners to ensure the integration of new technologies Offer team members technical guidance, mentorship, and support Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on data integration, process reengineering, and analytics Masters degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field can be substituted for two years of experience Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) are a plus Technical Skills: Proficient in business process analysis tools and documentation, including use case development, process flow diagrams, and data models Expertise in process reengineering methodologies to streamline workflows through automation, standardization, and system integration Strong knowledge of data integration technologies, including the automation of manual data collection and reporting processes Experience in data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to create actionable insights Familiarity with SQL databases and ETL processes for data integration and management Non-Technical Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and document business requirements clearly Excellent problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and propose optimization strategies Leadership and mentoring experience with the ability to guide junior team members Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and align processes with strategic goals Commitment to Luminositys mission of advancing pretrial justice
