Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring an Operations Manager to contribute to our Manufacturing team in Jackson, TN. An Operations Manager manages the overall operations to optimize production and quality while reduction cost, encourages and develops assigned leadership team and works to continually improve the status quo. This person oversees multiple manufacturing process and packaging operations through hands-on leadership including being on the floor daily. The manager ensures departments are meeting expectations through building credibility, mastering products and manufacturing processes, evaluating Supervisors and Leads capabilities, building and solidifying relationships with key managers. This individual supervises all associates, directly or indirectly, and takes responsibility of the assigned shifts day to day operations

Schedule:
- C Shift: Sunday – Tuesday, 7pm-7am + every other Saturday 7pm-7am
Required Qualifications:
- College degree or directly related year for year experience
- 3 or years of management experience
- 1 or years of manufacturing experience
Essential Duties:
- Manages human resources, materials and equipment necessary for the daily production and shipping of books to LSI customers, including but not limited to, order routing, material requisitioning, shift staffing, and quality control.
- Coordinates with other LS Departments, to resolve customer complaints, rush orders and meet client needs.
- Oversees and directs supervisors on assigned shift.
- Composes and approves associate evaluations and maintain accurate attendance/time records; recommending disciplinary measures, as needed.
- Interviews applicants, approves hiring decision and oversees training,
- Ensures that safety and hazardous material guidelines are followed by associates at all times.
