Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Urology in Michigan

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Urology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 24-Hour Beep Call plus 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. clinic Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Michigan License required Certifications: Board Certified in Urology, BLS Must-Have: Clean background for quick privileging, COVID Vaccine Job Description: - Provide inpatient and outpatient care coverage, including outpatient office, elective procedures, and inpatient emergent calls. - Practice setting is 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient. - Manage a percentage of practice demographics: 1% pediatric, 80% adult, 19% geriatric. - Average 15-20 office/clinic patients per day and 1-2 emergent surgeries, with 6-8 on elective surgery days. - Work with a support staff consisting of a medical assistant and receptionist. - Utilize office equipment, including PVR and Uroflow, disposable cystoscopes, and bladder scanner. - Operate within a Level 2 trauma setting. - Participate in orientation at half the hourly rate. - Clock in and out using Kronos; paper timesheets will not be used. - Maintain professional standards and ethics during all interactions and procedures.
