Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Ophthalmology in California

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Ophthalmology Job Duration: 78 Days Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm Guaranteed Hours: 8 Hours Experience: License: Board Certified Certifications: BLS, Other Must-Have: - Board Certification in Ophthalmology - Experience in Cataract removal and Glaucoma procedures - Proficiency in Vitreo retinal procedures and Intra-ocular injections Job Description: - Full-time locum opportunity in Ophthalmology. - Work schedule from 8 am to 5 pm with an hour lunch break from 12 pm to 1 pm. - Handle approximately 22 patient encounters per shift. - Prefer a local physician to cover the entire need. - No privileges are needed for this position. - No estimated credentialing timeframe, requires immediate availability. - Trauma level 0 facility and PEDs level 0. - Specialty skills preferred in non-surgical and surgical ophthalmology procedures such as Cryotherapy, Anterior and Posterior Segment work, LASIK, Corneal Transplants, and Refractive Surgery. - Proficiency in Ophthalmology studies such as Ultrasound Interpretation (A and B-Scan), Photos Interpretation, Fluorescein Angiography, and Optical Coherence Tomography.
