Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. As a Analyst-Global SAP Security , you’ll be at the forefront of driving excellence. Our team is responsible for providing business process and SAP training, consulting, high-level problem resolution, process improvements, innovation, project implementations, and tool and process governance in an effort to leverage the use of SAP and related global tools to make the Security & Controls business processes more innovative, productive, and control-minded. While this position will perform no IT technical configuration or SAP programming work, configuration knowledge and SAP implementation experience is strongly desirable. The position responsibilities focus on the usability of SAP and connected systems by our GBS Centers, Corporate functions, affiliates, and supply chain personnel. This role will focus on one of the Role Design, Controls, or Provisioning sub-processes within SAP Security, but proficiency will be developed across all sub-processes over time. We're looking for someone with the ability to appropriately diagnose SAP and business problems, select or create alternative solutions, and effectively implement the solution. Bring a growth mindset and learning agility to draw upon previous experiences and apply them to new situations and become an integral part of Team Lilly Responsibilities: Project Implementation Collaborate in cross-functional or large projects within Security & Controls Lead small and medium projects within Security & Controls, applying project management techniques as appropriate Support design and development of business process and technical solutions to the global SAP environment in cooperation with information technology and business users Contribute in requirements gathering, design, testing, documentation, and training activities for projects impacting Security & Controls Provide Role Design, Controls, & Provisioning support to Finance, Supply Chain, and IT Business Partnering and Innovation Build relationships with business partners and end-users to grow business process knowledge Network with external partners to gain knowledge of the latest business and technical trends, issues, and opportunities Leverage Finance and Supply Chain business and technical experience to propose innovations that improve productivity and controls Process and Tool Governance Work with process owners, controllers, Corporate groups, Global Business Solutions (GBS) Center management, Sites, and auditors to ensure the system is compliant to all external requirements and internal productivity targets Provides consulting and guidance on the usage of SAP Process Controls as a global financial controls repository and continuous control monitoring tool Prioritize system changes for break/fixes and enhancements in cooperation with IT Find opportunities to enhance technology usage and benefits Use data, analytics, and process mining tools and techniques to gain actionable business insights Conduct global reviews of security provisioning design and metadata Monitor Segregation of Duty risk mitigation processes and be responsive to audit requests and issues Consulting and Problem Resolution Provide initial consulting and resolve issues to security steward community and end-users Resolve business and technical issues impacting global and local processes Identify and act on incremental innovation opportunities based on consulting requests received Training Materials and Delivery Provide Security & Controls business process and SAP training and formal knowledge transfer around key integration points and cross-functional implications of processes Share key learning points and system changes to the relevant community to increase business process knowledge and SAP proficiency Ensure educational materials and process flows are up-to-date based on the latest system and business process changes Basic Requirements: Bachelor degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain or a related field A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience with knowledge of Security, Finance, Supply Chain, or IT processes Strong SAP skills Additional Preferences: Strong English communication skills Understanding of SAP role group design and security authorizations Understanding of Security provisioning systems and processes Control frameworks and mitigating controls familiarity Familiar with Finance and/or Supply Chain business process SAP related project, consulting, problem resolving, or power user experience Ability to cooperate with people at all levels of an organization Curiosity to uncover root causes of issues and the drive to correct and prevent them Committed and persistent to work thru ambiguity Effective project management skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, and implement mitigating steps to keep projects on schedule to meet deadlines Multi-lingual a plus Other Information: This role is located in Indianapolis, IN with hybrid work schedule.
