Join us, and together we will turn groundbreaking hardware designs into reality!  We are looking for a highly analytical and quantitative Principal Manager with a strong technical background, and a proven track record of managing teams to achieve operational excellence, driving complex dependencies spanning multi disciplines of large scale silicon engineering organization including Silicon Compute & infrastructure (Cloud, HPC), CAD flows, and day to day operations (support, analytics, planning) and leveraging data, AI and automation techniques& AI in their mode of work to provide insights, increase productivity, and&  improve the decision making systems.    The Principal Manager of technical Strategy and Operations will be part of the Silicon Operations team, working closely with the leadership team of the Silicon engineering org, to understand our strategic goals and drive cross org efforts deploying a data-centric approach for the decision-making necessary for the dynamic silicon research, design, and implementation, as well as drive our next generation systems modernization on different fronts.  #azurehwjobs   #SCHIE   #MILE Required/minimum qualifications9+ years of related technical engineering experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience or internship experienceOR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experienceOR Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience.9+ years’ experience in an engineering position, Technical Program Management or data analytics position3+ year(s) experience in one of the silicon engineering disciplines; (Silicon operations, Infrastructure, CAD, data analytics)Experience leading and building a teamAdditional or preferred qualifications15+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience OR Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience.Hands-on experience in working with Microsoft PowerBi or similar tools to observe trends for decision makingAbility to demonstrate curiosity, strategic thinking to resolve day-to-day problemsHighly organized, self-motivated and analytical problem solvingExperience working through ambiguity, identifying scaling bottlenecks, and drive complex programs with large scope and dependencies simultaneouslyExperience with LEAN/Six Sigma and certifications are strongly preferredExcellent written and verbal communications skills Silicon Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
