Who knows where our shared journey will take you?We are seeking a Data Architect to assist us with defining, developing, and deploying our factory digital thread that will align with and support our automation and digitalization strategy and initiatives. You will play a crucial role in structuring and organizing data in a way that supports the organizations goals and objectives. You will collaborate closely with all stakeholders (data scientist, data analyst, business leaders, etc.) to understand requirements and design solutions that meet business needs. You will be work closely with various other Siemens’ organization all focused on developing the end-to-end Digital Twin and Digital Thread.You will make an impact by:Defining our factory digital thread to be used for our 5 North America plants.Architect and implement scalable data storage solutions that align with Siemens Information Security and Cyber Security guidelines.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.At least five years’ experience working as a data modeler.Proficient in SQL (relational databases) and with data warehousingExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP) and with edge computingUnderstanding of data integration techniques, tools and experience with data governance frameworks and practices.Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Certifications in data management (e.g., CDP, CDAP). Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.).Familiarity with advanced analytics concepts (e.g., machine learning, AI).Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.Experience collaborating with organizations focused on defining, designing, and deploying the end-to-end digital thread.Experience working with stakeholders to convert requirements into solutions.You’ll benefit from:Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
