About the Company and Part Time Staff Accountant *****
CFS is working with a new non profit client to find a Part Time Staff Accountant for a contract opportunity for the next 2-3+ months
The Staff Accountant will work with a small, welcoming, and passionate team. Leadership enjoys mentoring and coaching employees
***** Hybrid work schedule (2 days work from home, 1 day in office after training) Tuesday-Thursday, 8:30am-4pm (7 hour work day)
***** $30-37/hour depending on experience
Reports to the CFO
Job Duties for the Part Time Staff *****
Assist with backlog of bank reconciliations
Perform grant reconciliations
Post cash receipts from multiple sources
Maintain general ledger
Process membership dues
Support AP and payroll processes
Work with engagement team to process donations and gifts
Qualifications for the Part Time Staff *****
2+ years related experience in accounting required
Non profit accounting experience highly preferred
Understanding of restricted funds and donations
Fund accounting experience beneficial
Experience using Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP system highly preferred
Proficient with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, importing/exporting, etc.)
