Position Summary
ofi’s internship program is a great way to gain relevant experience and jump-start your career.
You will work closely with exceptional talent, building on ofi’s purpose to “Be the Change for Good Food and a Healthy Future” and contributing to critical work for the business. As a Summer 2025 Intern, you will learn and contribute to a global organization, build a robust network, demonstrate leadership skills, and have some fun along the way.
Reporting to the the North American Head of Learning & Development, the 2025 Summer Intern: Human Resources (IDE) will work with business and functional leaders within ofi to collect, curate, and organize information routinely requested by our customers and other external stakeholders regarding the Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) status of ofi-North America.
The ideal candidate should enjoy learning about the intersection of business, geo-economics, social justice, and workplace culture. A good fit would be an individual with proficient skills in project management, information research, business writing, and stakeholder communications.
During this internship, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of customer and third party relationships, workplace culture management, cross-functional process-building, and corporate responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced and collaborative environment while contributing to the success of our organization.
Position Responsibilities
Research and consolidate the inventory of IDE-related information requests/ requirements from and ofi-NA’s responses to customers and third party stakeholders including but not limited to government agencies, regulatory authorities, and credentialing organizations. Identify and propose solutions for information gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities for ofi-NA’s external-facing IDE narrative. Collaborate with business and functional area stakeholders on standardizing right-fit content for IDE-related information exchanges with customers and third parties. Conduct listening sessions with functional and business stakeholders to validate
current intake points for external IDE inquiries, check customer and third party satisfaction with ofi response quality and timeliness, and identify opportunities for a streamlined and technology-enabled process for end-to-end management of IDE information requests and responses. Position Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited BS or MS degree program, and majoring in Human Resources, Sociology or Psychology, Communication, Business Administration, Communications, Economics or other related program. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Must have great attention to detail. Ability to work within a team environment Excellent communication skills The pay for this role in the city of
Chicago is $23
/hour
and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
Interns with a permanent address more than 35 miles from the work location are eligible to receive a stipend to offset relocation and housing costs.
