Job Description Manager IT Applications, RPA Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced RPA Manager to oversee our Enterprise RPA team and Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate will manage the continuous development of our RPA program, bot development, and operations, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives. This role requires technical expertise in UiPath and strong leadership capabilities to manage both development activities and CoE functions. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management Lead and mentor a team of RPA developers, analysts, and solution architects Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and team performance Oversee professional development and training programs for team members Conduct regular performance reviews and career development discussions Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement RPA Development & Operations Oversee the entire lifecycle of RPA initiatives from ideation through deployment Ensure adherence to best practices in bot development and testing Manage the bot deployment pipeline and release management processes Monitor bot performance and maintain high availability of automated processes Lead problem-solving efforts for complex automation challenges Guide architectural decisions for enterprise-scale automations Oversee integration strategies with enterprise systems, particularly SAP and data platforms Center of Excellence Management Drive the continued maturation of the RPA CoE Maintain and enhance RPA governance frameworks and standards Oversee process assessment and selection methodology Manage automation backlog and prioritization framework Ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations Monitor and optimize automation ROI and performance metrics Manage vendor relationships and license optimization Maintain documentation standards and knowledge management systems Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with RPA technologies, with substantial UiPath expertise 3+ years of team management experience in technology Experience managing an RPA Center of Excellence Strong understanding of RPA development lifecycle and best practices Advanced knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and associated tools Experience with enterprise systems integration and API development Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Technical Skills Primary Skills UiPath Platform (Studio, Orchestrator, Test Suite) UiPath Automation Hub and Insights Additional RPA platforms (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) a plus Process and task mining tools Version control systems (Git) SQL and database management API integration and web services Enterprise application integration Business process modeling Microsoft Office 365 automation Test automation frameworks Enterprise Systems Integration Experience (Plus) SAP ERP and S/4HANA automation HANA Sidecar architecture and implementation Table Data Virtualization (TDV) Talend Data Integration and Management SAP GUI scripting SAP BAPI/RFC integration Experience with SAP batch input and direct input methods Data transformation and migration tools Soft Skills Strong leadership and team management capabilities Strategic thinking and planning Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders Project and program management expertise Problem-solving and analytical thinking Change management experience Vendor management skills Budget management experience Ability to influence and drive consensus Strong presentation and documentation skills Additional Preferred Qualifications UiPath certifications (Advanced RPA Developer, Solution Architect) SAP certification or extensive SAP automation experience Experience with data virtualization and integration platforms Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies ITIL certification PMP or similar project management certification Experience with process mining tools Knowledge of AI/ML integration with RPA Experience with cognitive automation solutions Six Sigma certification Responsibilities to Enterprise Stakeholders Partner with business units to identify and prioritize automation opportunities Report on RPA program metrics and KPIs to senior leadership Manage automation roadmap and strategic planning Ensure alignment between RPA initiatives and business objectives Collaborate with IT security, infrastructure, and operations teams Develop and manage program budget and resource planning Lead change management and communications for RPA initiatives Coordinate with SAP and data integration teams for enterprise-wide solutions The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in RPA with strong leadership skills and enterprise systems knowledge, demonstrating the ability to drive both technical excellence and strategic value through our automation program.
