Job Summary
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. The Sr. Analyst Supply Chain will participate in designing solutions related to 3PL demand planning, inventory management, procurement, supply chain and operations network planning to support a growing business. This person will be working with our internal and external customers to identify needs, define and frame issues and develop detailed project plans.
Job Description Responsibilities: Support supply chain planning managed within ERP and advanced planning systems
Develop processes to govern and validate supply chain relevant data
Build KPIs to track their impact
Analyze and manage inputs to supply chain systems to optimize service and supply chain metrics
Develop reporting to aid in supply chain planning
Analyze business processes to identify improvement opportunities through available technology or process redesign
Enable data-driven decision making
Provide documentation of business requirements to IT teams for system and/or reporting enhancements where necessary
Serve as a liaison to IT in the development of new reporting and system functionality.
Manage project plans on impactful supply chain improvement initiatives and coordinate resources for successful completion
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics or Applied Science
At least 4 years of manufacturing operations and/or inventory management experience
Experience communicating to groups of managers, clients, customers, vendors, senior managers and the general public
Demonstrated experience working on improvement or analysis initiatives
Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
Experience developing reporting in or utilizing advanced Business Intelligence tools to query data - e.g. Tableau, Business Objects, Composite Studio, MicroStrategy, PowerBI, etc.
Experience applying standard financial, accounting and business problem-solving skills to business problems
