Job Description As a Data and Analytics architect, you will work with business, functional, and technical teams throughout the design and implementation of objectives to ensure that the overall composition of the solution meets the business and technical goals. In this role, you will: Conduct design reviews of new and existing architecture. Create reference architectures and standards to enable effective solution delivery. Design solutions for performance and cost optimization. Design automation solutions for reusability and consistency. Role Responsibilities Create detailed architectural specifications to document the architecture decisions; communicate the architectural specifications to designers, developers, contractors, and business sponsors in a directly actionable, clear, and unambiguous manner. Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. Design architecture to enforce data governance policies, including data quality, data lineage, and metadata management Identify technical risks upfront and bring them to the attention of management. Publish best practices and standards for Data Integration, transformation and consumption Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost-efficiency. Working with the wider Enterprise Architecture community to develop the target architecture. Stay current on data and analytics technology trends both in the industry and within the Medline landscape, including researching and implementing new and/or alternate technologies that will further business goals and provide competitive advantages. Develop cloud migration strategies to help organizations transition from on-premises infrastructure to cloud native solutions. Drive efficient cloud automation methodology for maintenance and migrations. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Provide technical support to the IT team and stakeholders to ensure that cloud-based solutions are functioning effectively and efficiently. Required Experience Minimum 5+ years in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering & Analytics Experience Minimum 5+ years of Cloud data architecture (preferably Azure) Required Skills Must be a team player. Self-motivated and able to work efficiently and accurately Significant and demonstrable interest in new emerging technologies Experience designing solutions using the Azure suite of PaaS offerings such as Azure AKS, Azure Synapse , Azure data Factory, Azure ADLS, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, etc. Extensive experience of developing progressive information management solutions and end-to-end development life-cycle support and SDLC processes Excellent communication and presentational skills, confident and methodical approach, and able to work within a team environment Articulates clear objectives and qualitative/quantitative measures of success Experience provisioning and managing Azure Infrastructure using automation. Experience migrating applications to the Azure cloud. Benefits
