Soliant is hiring: Contract-to-Hire Retail Pharmacist Rome, NY in Rome

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Retail Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy.
Employment Type: Contract with potential for full-time hire
Shift Options:

• 8-hour shifts: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• 12-hour shifts: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and safety
• Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and checking for expired medications
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Ensure pliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Maintain patient records using RX30 software (training provided)
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) services

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent
• Current and valid state pharmacist license
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Experience with RX30 software is a plus, but training will be provided
• COVID-19 vaccination preferred but not required

Pay Range: $60- $64per hour
