Job Description
LHH is currently accepting applications for an Accounting Assistant for our client located in Twinsburg, Ohio. This position is 100% onsite and is a direct hire position. You must reside within reasonable commuting distance to be considered for this position.
The Successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
· Prepare client remittance statements using Excel and Adobe
· Manage Accounts Receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment follow-ups
· Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
· Assist with the timely processing of a high volume of checks, ACHs, credit card transactions and web payments in our collection system
· Prepare daily balancing reports and month end audits
· Process client payments via check, ACH and wire
· Resolve account discrepancies
· Maintain financial documents using an organized filing system as instructed electronically or non-electronically
· Post client funds for Accounts Receivable
· Uphold professionalism by providing courteous customer service to clients
· Monitor daily bank activity
· Assist with Accounts Payable (A/P) processing in QuickBooks
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications …
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
· 2 or more years’ accounting or bookkeeping experience
· Experience with Adobe Acrobat, specifically knowledge in editing and manipulating documents
· Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
· Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data
· Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
· Analytical, problem-solving nature. Organized. Enjoy working with numbers.
· Team player with the ability to work independently with general direction
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with colleagues and customers

Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
